About

Dr. Anne Nisenzon
Director, Optimal Health Therapy, LLC

I am a committed and compassionate clinical psychologist, licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and California, and available via teletherapy to PSYPACT participating states (full list here). My interests and background are in helping people understand the mind-body connection and using it to improve the way we live despite stress and hardships. I specialize in health psychology, which focuses on promoting overall well-being as well as coping with worsening, chronic, or terminal illness. I also have extensive experience in life stress management strategies and insomnia treatment. While I spent the majority of my career in Florida and California, I recently returned home to the Philadelphia area to continue my practice helping you live your best values-driven life. I take a very collaborative approach to ensure that you feel you are being heard and your goals are being met. My therapeutic style is warm, genuine, and present as we work on navigating your emotional and physical obstacles together.
